Notary files are public, and the notary faithfully holds their custody and management responsibility. All the documental collection is inventoried, digitalized and index computerized.
File kept by the notary
Acts requested in person from the files in the notary’s office will be considered original documents and they can be sent by mail too, after a bank transfer.
Testament acts of a person alive other related acts can just be requested by the holder in person, after identification.
The notary acts as a liberal professional in her office located in Avenida da Liberdade nº 9, 6º esqº, in Lisbon since 15/02/2005.
We keep all the file from 15/02/2015 to date.
The notary held the extinct 7th Notary’s office of Lisbon located in Rua da Madalena, nº 273, 1º and previously in Largo da Madalena until 14/02/2005; she faithfully holds part of its documental collection.
The rest of those documents are kept in the Arquivo Nacional Torre do Tombo.
